Oommen is a seasoned IT professional with 35 years of industry experience across Cybersecurity, GRC, Privacy, AI, IT Infrastructure, and Application Support & Maintenance. He has led global engagements across diverse industries.

His prior 23‑year tenure at Infosys Ltd. spanned IT infra/cybersecurity service delivery and governance, consulting and advisory, and GRC Practice CoE leadership.

He is known for building and guiding high‑performance teams, mentoring professionals, and driving collaboration and excellence in dynamic business environments.

Oommen holds multiple global certifications, including PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, CGEIT, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CPISI, CSX‑P, DP‑GDPR‑LI, ISO27001‑LA, CIPPE, CIPM, and FIP.

A member of industry forums including ISC2, ISACA, IAPP, IEEE, AEA, PMI etc, he has been actively volunteering for leadership positions in some of them, thus actively collaborating, learning and contributing to the broader industry community. He is also a recognized thought leader with several publications and speaking engagements.
